OUR STORY
1980
Owl Creek Vineyards was founded as the first commercial winegrape vineyard in what would later be the Shawnee Hills AVA.
1995
Owl Creek’s first winery facility completed and co-founded the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail.
2005
The Genung family purchases Owl Creek from founding shareholders, ramping up production quantity wines and improves the tasting room experience with the addition of more seating, a cafe menu and local musicians filling the air with bluegrass and folk tunes on the weekends.
2012
Apple Knocker Hard Ciders are launched and become big part of Owl Creek’s product line.
2018
The new Owl Creek is built with an eye to future growth and making your visit a memorable experience.
