Bought a bottle of 2001 Owl's Leap Illinois Dry Table Wine back in 2005 when visiting the area (I grew up in Bunker Hill). Just opened it August 2010. Very good!! I drink a lot of California wine and very impressed by this vintage.

Spent 3 days in the Shawnee area and are SO glad we stopped. The information and congeniality of your staff was outstanding. Have 2 bottles - a peach that I plan to serve over homemade ice cream with pecans and a lovely red concord. We rarely get sweet wines, preferring dry for meals, but these were too good to pass up. And knowing we can get your wines in the Chicago area is a big plus.

We just got back from Giant City last week and we visited your vineyard. The service was warm and my family got a kick out of the tricks your australian shephard did for us! Even though you didn't have anymore of the Bald Knob Red, we left from our visit very satisified. I went crazy for your Bald Knob Red when I had it at the Giant City Lodge! The Giant City Lodge had the last two bottles and I bought them both! You are on our list to see/buy from again! I also told my story to a few friends, I am trying to convince them to visit! Thanks for making our visit to the Shawnee National Forest that much better!

We just came down for vacation on Lake of Egypt. We did 4 wineries. Yours blew every other out of the water. I graduated from SIU in 04' and I'm kicking myself for not heading out by your wine on a monthly basis. The group I brought down is now addicted to your wines. They are first timers to the area. We are tying to figure out how to get down there to get more wine for the cold winters up here. Keep up the good work, and don't change a thing. First time we tried your product was through a wine store in Effingham, IL The clerk had indicated that your Water Valley White was a favorite of Michelle Obama and one sip showed us why. We want to order some; I left our number through the contact section.

Visited fall of 2008 for our honeymoon. Been going to the wine trail and Owl Creek for the past 3 years. Visited Valentines Day 2009 and stocked up on our favorite "Whoo's Blush". My boyfriend and I did the Shawnee Wine Trail on Memorial day this year, and your vineyard was my favorite by far! My favorite was the Bald Knob, and we each bought a bottle. My parents are going to be down there this weekend, so I'm having them pick up another bottle for me! haha :)

I had your Reserve wine at a restaurant in Urbana last week. It was fantastic! They said President Obama served it at his inaugauration parties. I can understand why.
